Plot: Martin Brundle, a human/fly hybrid, is adopted by his father's workplace (Bartok Inc.), where the link to info workers just wait for his mutant chromosomes to awaken from their dormancy.
Thoughts On The Fly II: It's not unexpected that a fresh sequel was developed since the 1986 film was so successful and because the original spawned multiple sequels. In spite of the fact that the two films are a direct chronological sequel, they are very different, and the term "thrown together" may be more fitting than one would wish.
